Every calligraphy project is one of a kind, and that's my favorite part. I'd love to hear about yours and put together a custom quote that fits your vision, design, and materials. To give you a starting point, rates for commonly requested pieces are listed below.

All pricing is for calligraphy services only and does not include paper goods or shipping and delivery charges. You'll provide the paper goods, plus 25% extra. Providing extras is standard for handwritten work and covers any last-minute additions.

Optional Add-Ons

  • Black ink is classic, but we can have fun with color! I can source a ready-made colored ink, metallic ink, or mix a custom color to match your stationery suite, your brand palette, or even a specific Pantone number.

  • I’ll review your guest list for proper formal etiquette and flag any recommendations for amendments for your approval before your project begins.

  • I can source materials for you — postage, wax seal supplies, envelopes, and other paper goods, including vintage postage curation. The percentage upcharge is applied to the the actual cost (including shipping). Please note that vintage postage typically runs higher than current face value rates.

  • Hand-stamped with melted wax onto your envelopes, invitations, or favors in your choice of color, using one of my current stock seal designs. Prefer a different design? I can source a custom stamp for you — see Materials Sourcing for pricing. If you're handling your own assembly, sticker-backed seals are also available.

  • I’ll stuff, seal, and stamp your invitations, cards, or announcements and get them in the mail for you. Postage billed separately at actual cost.

  • I always do my best to accommodate tight timelines. When that means adjustments to my calendar, a priority fee as a percentage of the order total may be applied. For place cards, I recommend ordering at least two weeks before your order needs to ship, keeping in mind that shipping can add several days. Reserving a place on my calendar early is the surest way to avoid a rush, even if your guest list isn't final yet.

I offer two styles: classic Copperplate, which is elegant and timeless, and a modern, stylized script with a more relaxed, contemporary feel. Take a look through my portfolio to see examples. Because everything is written by hand, natural variations in the letterforms make each piece one of a kind.

What is staggered envelope addressing alignment?

Staggered alignment is a classic addressing style where each line of the address is offset slightly from the one above it, rather than centered or flush to one side.

Yes, a non-refundable 50% booking fee reserves your date, and the remaining balance is due before your project is completed and shipped. Orders of $300 or less are paid in full at booking.

Step 1

We’ll start with a conversation about your vision, your timeline, and ideas for bringing it all to life. Once I know what you have in mind, I'll put together a custom quote just for you.

Step 2

After you approve your quote and pay your deposit, a spot on my schedule is all yours. From there, you'll send along your materials and guest list or the text you'd like calligraphed by the date we've agreed on.

Step 3

I'll letter each piece by hand and keep you posted along the way. Once everything is finished, I'll package it up with care.
